Radi-Plane “softens” edges

This clever little plane is the perfect choice for rounding over sharp project edges for reasons of safety, appearance or, in the case of cabinet doors, for a better, more professional looking fit.
 
The radius can be adjusted from 1/160 to 1/40 on any edge. The first of two cutters makes the initial cut, while the second cleans a perfect radius. Maple body with a brass soleplate.

If you are fed up losing small items which come with a tool then in this case there is a solution. The Radi Plane comes with an allen key which I knew would get lost/confused into the allen key box. To avoid this I decided to set my machine to Horizontal boring mode and drill a 4.5mm hole the length of the key into the front edge of the Radi Plane. I then reamed out HALF the depth with a 5mm drill. Now there is the ability to keep everything togther instead of scratching aroound looking for the "correct" key to adjust.
