Vertical Ogee Panel Raising Bit with 1/2" shank-Ogee-16J6351

Vertical Ogee Panel Raising Bit with 1/2" shank-16J6351

This vertical ogee panel raising bit is much safer to use than a regular panel raising bit since the cutting edge runs parallel to the axis of the shank, substantially reducing the diameter, the load on your router, and the shock to carbide inserts. The chip-limitation design further reduces the danger of kickback.

It has a body diameter of 1", a depth of 1 9/16" and a shank diameter of 1/2".

Our professional/industrial grade bits have tungsten carbide inserts ground on CNC (Computer Numeric Control) machines using 600x diamond wheels. Tungsten carbide maintains its hardness at high temperatures and holds an edge far longer than high-carbon or high-speed steels. The bit bodies have a non-stick coating for easy resin removal.

For better safety, this bit should be used only in a router table equipped with a fence and not used free hand.

It includes an advanced polymer friction-fit holder that can be mounted horizontally or upright.
