555948 Shopsmith 2-1/4" x 6" Drum Sander

6" tall x 2-1/4" Shopsmith Drum Sander does everything our 3" tall model does and more. For example, use it to sand the inside or outside curves on workpieces up to 6" thick... or to pad sand a stack of several 1/2" or 3/4" thick workpieces to the identical shape, all at once !

You can put a 3" tall coarse sleeve on the bottom and a 3" tall medium or fine sleeve on top and switch between sanding grits without changing sleeves by simply moving your Mark 7 or Mark V quill up or down (vacuum attachment must be removed for this operation).

Includes: Drum Sander and One Medium Grit Sanding Sleeve.

2-1/4" Shopsmith drum sander is 3" high with a rubber expansive drum that can be attached quickly to the spindle on your Mark 7 or Mark V, your Shopsmith Power Station... or the auxiliary spindle on your Shopsmith belt sander. Just slip the sleeve on, tighten the expansion bolt and go to work.
