I have made a collar mount to use with this item which will be included.

With my design the item mounts direct to the Shopsmith collar

It will move with the headstock when raising or lowering and does not get in the way

Have a look at the pictures as this modification means it is a more versitile unit than either the Shopsmith Ohio design or the standard pillar drill design SIMPLES !!

Both the Wixey and Shopsmith solutions attach the unit to the pillar drill post or way tubes

So it is ALWAYS in the way when resetting the drill position

This Universal Drill Press Laser projects a thin set of cross-hairs onto your drill press table precisely where the drill bit will contact the work piece.
