    This item is the basic 240 volt motor rewind service

    It is only viable for Emerson units as spares are no longer available for the A.O Smith motors

    If your motor has failed it can often be repaired provided it has not caught fire

    Send your motor to me and I will remove the spring and sheaves to determine if it is suitable to be rewound

    THERE ARE THREE STYLES OF EMERSON MOTORS I AM AWARE OF

    Style 1:- The 240v 50hz ¾ & 1.1/8 HP A.O Smith Rated at ½ Hour

    Style 2:- The 240v 50hz 1 &1/8th HP Emerson Rated continuous (early)

    Style 3:- The 240v 50hz 1 &1/8th HP Emerson Rated continuous (late)

    Spares availability

    Style 1, Capacitor - bearings (No internal switches available)

    Style 2, Capacitor - bearings (No internal switches available)

    Style 3, Capacitor - bearings - centrifugal switch - Plate switch (Limited stock available)

    You are responsible for shipping the item to me in the first instance

    This REWIND service includes the following :-

    I will dismantle and refurbish the sheaves. Transport the motor to the rewind specialist.

    The charges for the copper rewind materials used are included in the cost.

    Transport the motor back from the rewind specialist. 

    I will then re-assemble and ship the fully tested unit back to you.
