    Table insert is made of  rigid cast aluminum 2-1/4" diameter circular cutout allows the sander drum to drop below the table surface to shape edges completely and smoothly. Provision for attaching vacuum attachment for dust collection.  

    Note: Not for use with ER, Mark 2, or older style Mark VII

    Mark V model 500 table insert is made of  rigid cast aluminum (Later Mark V model 500 inserts are made of a tough polymer).  Both have a 2-1/4" diameter circular cutout to allow the sander drum to drop below the table surface to shape edges completely and smoothly.
